My name is Amber York and I am the first grade teacher. For those of you who don’t know me, I have worked in the Canaseraga School District for seven years now, as a Teacher’s Aide/Teaching Assistant. Four of those five years I worked in a 6:1:2 special education classroom.

I grew up in Canisteo and graduated from there in 2012. Now I live in Canaseraga on a dairy/beef farm with my future hubby! I received my Associates Degree in Human Services at Alfred State in 2015. I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education at Grand Canyon University in 2020, and I completed my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education last Fall. I absolutely love working with children and seeing them grow educationally. I am a very upbeat, happy person, and I will do everything I possibly can for ALL students I work with to be successful.
