I grew up in Ingleside, Texas. I graduated from Texas A & M- Corpus Christi in May of 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Mathematics. My first years of teaching were in the Corpus Christi Independent School District, where I taught 6th-8th grade math, and 4th and 5th grade.
In 2005, my husband retired from the US Army and we moved our family to Arkport, NY. I took a year off of teaching so I could attempt to acclimate myself to driving in snow. I began substitute teaching in 2006 and found my way to Canaseraga in the fall of 2007. I
I feel that Canaseraga Central School has become my home away from home. I love the time I spend working with our students.
I received my Master of Science in Education- Educational Technology from SUNY Buffalo State College in May of 2012.
I really enjoy keeping up with the latest and greatest educational technology tools!
I currently teach general computers to Pre-K through 5th grade, Technology Exploration to Grades 6 and 8, and VEX Robotics - Grade 10. I am also the WebMaster, Technology Coordinator, Robotics Coach, Co-Yearbook Adviser and Class of 2026 Adviser as well. (hence the home away from home)
